About Antivirus Alerts — The Truth Behind False Flags

NOTE: This has not been tested on all antivirus programs and this might never happen but just in case it does you know what you need to do.


Some antivirus programs may mistakenly flag highly secure applications as threats — known as false positives.
This happens when advanced security technology (like encrypted vaults or on-demand encryption tools) behaves differently from normal consumer software.
StealthLock’s systems —VaultBox, encryption modules, self-defense mechanisms — may appear unfamiliar to outdated antivirus heuristics.
This does NOT mean StealthLock is dangerous.
It means StealthLock is powerful.

  • StealthLock is a legally licensed, legitimate security product
  • 100% SAFE to install and use

Once allowed, your antivirus will stop flagging it.

NOTE: This has not happened yet but there is always a chance and this may never happen but just in case it does you understand what you need to do.

How to Fix a False Positive Detection ( This is for Windows Defender if you have different antivirus follow those instructions. )
Method 1 — Add an Exclusion in Windows Security

  1. Open Windows Security
  2. Go to Virus & threat protection
  3. Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings
  4. Scroll to Exclusions → click Add or remove exclusions
  5. Click Add an exclusion → choose File or Folder
  6. Select the StealthLock program or folder
  7. Done — Windows will no longer block it

Method 2 — Restore the File from Microsoft Defender Action Center
If Defender already quarantined the file:
1. Open the Microsoft Defender portal and sign in

  2. Open Action Center

  3. Go to History

  4. Select the flagged action

  5. Click Undo to restore the file

Method 3 — Restore from Protection History
1. Open Windows Security

     2. Open Virus & threat protection

     3. Go to Protection history

     4. Find the flagged StealthLock item

     5. Click Restore

     6. Done — the app will run normally
